Hi Everyone.... I am so thankful for the support I receive all year, and so very happy to be able to share my God given gift with you. I would like to give back so for the next two weeks I am taking suggestions for new sets and then giving a combo set to each winner.... I will be drawing as fast as I can so there will be multiple winners! This is the time to give me special request, art work that you have needed to bring a new idea to life.
I will be taking suggestions from now until November 29 and will announce the winners on Dec 1.
Please send only one suggestion per post so I can keep it all straight.
Oh this is going to be fun...
pictures that can be used to practice skills... for example: rhyming words, CVC words, beginning sounds sets, word families etc.
ReplyDeleteOh I like the idea of pictures for skills.
ReplyDeleteMaybe some pictures for nocturnal animals (bats, owls, raccoons, etc.) and the habitat they live in (caves, trees).

I would LOVE fairy tale, folktale, fables, myths pack of clip art! Some gods and goddesses, 3 headed dragons, animals like tortoise & hare or blackbird and peacock, for fairy tales, something other than a blonde, smiling Cinderella in her princess dress. I know that 2nd and 3rd grade common core standards both have those genres, but its hard to find good clip art to match the themes!
ReplyDeleteA great packet would be synonyms and antonyms :)
ReplyDeleteI would love pictures for verbs (action words) and an extension of your current community helpers set to include pilot, tram driver, mechanic, builder, hairdresser, chef, baker, plumber, dentist, bus driver, librarian, waiter/waitress, zookeeper, train driver, vet, shopkeeper, dressmaker, architect...
ReplyDeletecheriemae@gmail.com
I agree with Cherie, more community helpers and maybe where they work (police station, bakery, post office, etc).
ReplyDeleteI'd also enjoy insects (ladybugs, bees, spiders) I'm doing a lot with "How are plant and animal communities important to each other?-so anything with that. :) I love all of your clipart and graphics because you make everything just look so cute!!

I could use clip art related to STEM. Students building or students working with items like bridges, rockets, parachutes, planes and roller coasters. When Next Generation Science standards are adopted in the next year or so, all teachers will have an engineering component to teach at all grade levels of science.

Anything to do with the library … so like BOOKS, computers (for student use or for library "circulation" i.e. checkout desk), scanners, a library card, a kiddo making a quiet sign (please, NO bespectacled and gray bunned old lady librarian shushing), a group of kids TALKING in the library cause they're planning a group project, maybe some representations of mobile devices. I'll keep thinking what could go in it.
ReplyDeleteOh, and speaking of library and the "generalities" section of Dewey decimal? A Loch Ness Monster and a Bigfoot or Yeti. PRETTY PLEASE!?!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely phonics clip art (word families, blends, digraphs, etc.). I love your work!

Other than various versions of CINDERELLA, there are no specifics mentioned. The goal of the standards is to get them to retell, compare and determine morals. The ones I used a couple weeks ago were Hercules, Zeus, Pandora, Midas. For fairy tales, I do multiple versions from different countries (Korean, Egyptian, etc.) The red riding hoods and three pigs, bears, etc are all good ones too! Thanks for considering our suggestion :)
DeleteMath graphics ! Unifix cubes, double sided bean counters, pattern blocks, dice, dominos, ten frames. Anything to use to build math activities easier!
ReplyDeleteLove your clip art !
Also doubly agree with skill pictures, vowels, beginning sounds etc.

I would like to see kids following rules. Cleaning up, listening, sharing, raising their hand, walking in the room, being "kind" to each other, etc. These are clipart images that I searched for at some point.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm too late to suggest, but I would like to see clipart of the characters from the book, The Seven Habits of Happy Kids by Sean Covey. This books is for kids and is based on the book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. I know that some schools use this book to teach behavioral expectations, so it would be nice to see fun clipart from it!
