This doesn't happen very often but, I cant get motivated to draw!!!! I have a list of fairy tales, southwest animals, zoo animals, rainforest, christian easter, and Poetry, but NOTHING sounds good to me right now!
Blech.... maybe something will look good tomorrow.
I would LOVE something for Earth Day! :)

Everything you make is spectacular and we love it all!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative. How about super heroes (boys and girls). I would love rhyming pictures (snake, cake, lake, etc) since many of my kids need this skill and finding great coordinated clipart is so hard.
ReplyDeleteWill you be doing a circus or movie theme in the future? Your clipart is so fun :-). Thanks!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow about animals from different habitats-desert, rainforest, arctic, grassland? shapes 3d, 2d? mother's day?....just a few things going on in classroom or soon to come :)
ReplyDeleteAAWWW I'm sorry to hear that! So is it bad that I ask if you were able to finish the boy sneakers I asked about a couple days ago? lol. LOVE YOUR STUFF btw :)

You'll get your groove back...maybe your brain is forcing you to take a vaca...hehehe! I run into the same road-block with my art as well...sometimes, just sitting outside in the sun while drawing helps to refresh the brain..

The 3AM Teacher
Thanks for the beautiful artwork. You are so talented.
ReplyDeleteI once read that Van Gough would "paint" random color strokes when he got stuck. And that is what moved him to create "Starry Night". Maybe making a list of things that sound interesting would help... here are some of the things I know I would LOVE to see at some point...
ReplyDeletegraduation
soccer
football
cheerleading
on vacation (think road trip)
places in the US (maybe states)
tools (not just dad or guy tools, but school tools or craft tools)
then there are the things that kinder and lower grade teachers might LOVE: rhyming items (pig, wig, cake, snake, star, car); beginning and ending sounds pictures (cat could be used for c and t); shapes and their everyday counterpart( cone and an ice cream cone or party hat); zoo animals, arctic animals, animals from different habitats; science tools (beaker, test tube, goggles, gloves etc); famous people in history; life cycles (pumpkin, apple tree, flower, frog, butterfly)
ok I'll stop there...
I can't wait to see what you do next!! My kids are learning your art and ask "Mrs Day is that your friend?" as they point to something that you drew. I love love love how my room looks covered in projects that include your art! Thank you!!

I am looking for life cycle sets! Maybe a chick or duck, insect of some kind, a sea turtle, maybe a mammal in the mix. Would love this!
